Amelia Bissett is a tennis player from Poulshot near Devizes, Wiltshire. She trained at the University of Bath until December 2019 and after completing her GCSE’s moved to London to train at JTC Academy. She trains at the National Tennis Centre and her coach is Alex Ward who reached a career high of top 200 ATP ranking. Amelia has represented GB from the age of 12 and last year represented GB in the U16 European Championships and U16 Summer Cup. She has played at Junior Wimbledon in 2018 and 2019. In July 2020 she won the Progress Tour played at the National Tennis Centre and in August 2020 she won the U18 Youth National Singles title in Nottingham.
Amelia has won 8 International Doubles titles and has just won her 2nd International Singles title in October 2020 in Portugal.
Her aim for 2021 is to play in all of the Junior Grand Slams in Australia, France, London and America and also to start her journey on the WTA tour.
