We have been delighted to fund and support two new young stars in December and we look forward to following their progress over the next year.

We have also re-funded five young people that we’ve helped before, Libby Seed (Gymnastics), Lauren Booth (Cycling), Rory Howarth (Octathlon), Gigi Ifil (Tennis) & Isabel Ashall (Gymnastics). They have all progressed and continued to improve and have achieved so much over the last 12 months and we wish them all the best in 2019.

Jenna Blundell

A massive thank you to Doing it for Dan for supporting me as an heptathlete going into the 2019 season. I am immensely grateful. The cost of equipment and the accommodation for competitions mounts up. I have peace of mind knowing that I have some financial support. With their help, I hope to progress well next season and pursue being an elite athlete. Thank You.

Jenna Caddy

Jenna is a 10 yr old artistic gymnast. She started gymnastics at the age of 6, and is now training over 20 hrs each week at Wiltshire School of Gymnastics, Melksham. Jenna has competed at both a regional and national level throughout 2018, qualifying twice as a member of the South West team. She was also selected for the Wiltshire County Gymnastics Squad. Her highlight this year was placing 2nd nationally at the National Grade 4 Finals in May where she also helped the South West team take the gold. Jenna continues to work hard in the gym to upgrade her skills ready for the next round of competitions in 2019.

Thank you so much to Doing it for Dan for your generous support, this will enable Jenna to purchase all of the essential equipment and kit needed for her training and competitions throughout 2019.
